We are proud to once again participate in the The Nassau County School District Entrepreneurship Summer Camp at the FSCJ Yulee Campus this year and wanted to share with you the wonderful opportunities for local 7th – 11th grade students!
The campers will be visiting us and hearing from some of our graduates, our $1,000 Start-Ups Workbook will be used in the program, and we’ll be one of the coaches helping the young entrepreneurs get ready for the Mock Business Fair to be held at the end of the program.

The Nassau County School District was awarded a competitive grant to increase the awareness of entrepreneurship across our area. The 2023 Entrepreneur Summer Program will be available to approximately 45 current 7th through 11th grade students from any school in the local area. The camp is FREE; however, $100 is required to cover lunch, breakfast, activities, and some materials during the camp. Some items are not allowed to be covered under the grant. We have partnered with Nassau County 4-H and the Institute for Enterprise to offer a top-notch experience for campers.
Tentative Camp Activities/Topics:
– Visit Local Business Owners (Brocks Landscaping, Cafe Karibo, Sweet As Cyn, Spinner’s Pizza & Pasta, & More)
– Entrepreneur Guest Speakers (Photographer, Mobile Business Owners, Author of $1,000 Start-Ups – Leah Ward-Lee, & More)
– Prepare lunches and learn basic culinary skills and food portion pricing formulas.
– Develop Leadership Skills
– Basic Financial Literacy
– Marketing Basics
– Design Signage & Materials (Logo, A-Frame Poster, Business Card, T-Shirt, & Flyers)
