Fall for Small Business Market September 14

As we enter Autumn, we are excited to plan our annual Fall for Small Business Vendor Market on Saturday, September 14, from 1 pm to 5 pm in the Atlantic Rec Center.

This community event is designed to highlight and support local small businesses in our community, including $1000 Start-Ups current Cohort and Consortium members as well as other local businesses.

The market gives entrepreneurs in the program the opportunity to get real-world experience by displaying with other local businesses. We are proud to welcome and promote small businesses and nonprofits in our area.

Please join us for a wonderful time celebrating and supporting our local small businesses, vendors will include food, artists, makers, retail, services, and other local small businesses.

An Invitation to Local Businesses

Area entertainers, non-profits, artists, creators, service providers, practitioners, and other small businesses are welcome to display and sell your products and services alongside the Cohort and Consortium members.  There is no cost to display; however, there is a $25 deposit that is redeemable as Fair Bucks to spend at the fair or refunded as cash at the end of the market. If you are a small business and would like to participate, please visit our website to contact us!

$1,000 Start-Ups is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization offering an entrepreneurship, financial management, and life skills training program at no cost to adults, including up to $1,000 business start-up funding. By the end of the program, students have their businesses up and running.

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook Page and Group to stay up to date on events, resources, and updates, as well as to engage in discussions with other small business owners.

Your tax deductible donation to $1000 Start-Ups helps us to continue to provide training, support, and opportunities for the development of small business in our community.

Community members are encouraged to attend the fairs to discover new and existing small business and to support economic growth in the local community.
